I’m still trying to figure out how to use the combination of the blog, Padlet, and Bluesky – considering that this is mostly for trainees and colleagues, and that I don’t have much time to do much else with it, I’m not sure what is best? The website / blog is the “anchor” but the Padlet is more casual and requires less time to post interesting things (as long as I remember to do so?)
Anyway, as a placeholder in the likely case that I forget to post again before the beginning of PGY-2 lectures:
(1) For trainees and some colleagues – please see the Dropbox for the most important files, PPTs, etc.
(2) See the Padlet for interesting links to articles, etc. – this is what the social media was initially but it has separated into a more advocacy, humorous, “social thing vs. the Padlet being more academic (oddly enough)
(3) See the disclaimers about social media, Goodreads, etc.
That being said, here are some upcoming things that I am working on –
(A) Upcoming PGY-2 lectures. Probably not a big difference or update from last year’s – unfortunately don’t have the time and is a tough course, but more fortunately is still functional
(B) PGY-4 [current PGY-3, but delayed] lectures. These may be revamped a bit but depends on what topics are chosen
(C) Grand rounds – topic TBA though likely an update of sex and brain pathways, unless I kick out and instead just revamp the asexuality talk
(D) Some new roles at work that may interact with the PGY-4 Interventional Elective?
Finally, as an update and a bit of self promotion, the Catatonia Special Interest Group of the American Neuropsychiatric Association has done this “Editor’s Choice” of Journal of Neuropsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences artciles on catatonia:
